Getting to Barrington Tops:
Rail: Cityrail provides a rail service 3 times daily, plus two Countrylink XPT services stopping at Dungog.
Car: Follow F3 freeway to Maitland.  Follow signs to Dungog. Alternatively follow Pacific Highway to Bucketts Way turnoff and follow the signs to Gloucester.
Air: Newcastle Airport is approximately 1 hour from the start of the Barrington Tops
Coach: Countrylink bus services to Gloucester weekdays from Newcastle.

Getting to Maitland, Hunter Valley:
Road:
 From the South:
Maitland is approximately two hours from Sydney City Centre, north on the F3 freeway and New England Highway (15).
 From the West:
From Dubbo and other western areas, travel along the Golden Hwy (27) and then the New England Highway (15).
 From the North via Coast:
From Brisbane and other North Coast locations travel along the Pacific Hwy (1) to Hexham and then the New England Hwy (15).
 From the North via Inland:
From Brisbane and other inland North locations travel along the New England Hwy (15).
Rail:
 Countrylink
Four XPT services daily from and to Sydney stopping at Maitland Railway Station. Reservations required. Ph 13 2232 (NSW Only)
 Cityrail
Sydney to Hamilton or Newcastle, connecting with local intercity services to Maitland. Approx. 30 services daily  PH: 13 1500 (NSW Only)
Air:

Getting to Hunter Valley Wine Country:
A mere two hour drive north west of Sydney, Hunter Valley Wine Country is much more than just wine. Stunning accommodation, superb restaurants, lush golf courses and thrill seeking adventures all await you. Spread along the famous Hunter Valley, Wine Country takes in numerous areas all spectacular and each offering a unique experience. From Pokolbin, renowned for its heritage in the local wine industry to new and developing areas along the Valley including Broke Fordwich, Lovedale, Upper Hunter, Wollombi Valley and more.
Road:
• Cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge heading North and follow signs to Newcastle and North Coast.
• This will lead you to  the Pacific Highway. Follow the Pacific Highway until you reach the National Highway 1 Freeway entrance at Wahroonga. (From Harbour Bridge to National Highway 1 Freeway entrance approx 30 minutes depending on traffic)
• Take the National Highway 1 Freeway north towards Newcastle.
• Exit the Freeway at the Cessnock / Hunter Valley Vineyards sign (Approx 1 hour or 100kms on freeway )
• Follow the signs to Cessnock

Getting to Lake Macquarie:
Car: Lake Macquarie is 90 minutes drive from Sydney’s CBD. Take the F3 Freeway from Sydney.
For East Lake; take the Budgewoi/Swansea exit for Nords Wharf, Cams Wharf, Catherine Hill Bay, Swansea, Blacksmiths, Pelican, Marks Point, Belmont & Charlestown.
For West Lake; take the Morisset/Cooranbong exit for Cooranbong, Morisset, Watagan Mountains, Myuna Bay, Wangi Wangi & Toronto. For North Lake; take the Cardiff exit for Speers Point & Warners Bay.
Air:  Lake Macquarie is a 30 minute flight from Sydney with the airport based at Belmont on the Eastern side of the Lake. Alternatively Newcastle airport is based at Williamtown and is a 40 minute flight from Sydney.
Coach:  Local services run regularly between neighbouring
suburbs.
Rail:  Lake Macquarie is serviced by both Sydney and
Country services.
Cycling: Cycleways have been built for your enjoyment around beautiful Lake Macquarie.

Getting to Newcastle:
Road: The main access from Sydney is via the F3 Freeway. The journey takes approximately two hours. Take the Newcastle exit and this will take you all the way into the CBD. Other major routes are the coastal Pacific Highway and the inland New England Highway from Brisbane. The Golden Highway provides easy access from Western NSW.
Rail: Newcastle is part of the City Rail network centred on Sydney. There are frequent return services daily. Fast Countrylink trains connect Newcastle to Sydney, Brisbane and other country centres. See City Rail web site for more details.
Air: Newcastle Airport (Williamtown) is the major regional airport and is located 30 minutes from Newcastle city centre. The airport is served by QantasLink and has daily flights to Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Melbourne as well as some regional NSW centres. Aeropelican, located at Belmont Airport (30 minutes south of Newcastle city centre) provides return commuter flights daily to Sydney.
Coach: Newcastle is serviced by coach companies throughout Australia. Connections to and from various locations are provided on a regular basis.

Getting to Singleton, Hunter Valley:
Car: 2½ hours drive north of Sydney via the Newcastle
Freeway (F3).
Take the freeway to it's end and turn left onto the New England Highway.
Follow signs through Maitland and Branxton to Singleton.
Rail: Countrylink provides one train per day from Sydney to Singleton, while Cityrail runs two services to Singleton from Sydney via Newcastle.
Coach: Coaches depart Central Station Sydney. Charters are also available.

Getting to Upper Hunter Country:
Rail: Countrylink offers a daily train service from Sydney to Murrurundi, stopping at Singleton, Muswellbrook, Aberdeen and Scone along the way.
Road:  Take the F3 freeway through to the Maitland turnoff.  Follow the signs through Lochinvar & Branxton to Singleton.  Singleton is the Gateway to the Upper Hunter Country.  The New England Highway is the main road through Upper Hunter Country.
Coach: McCafferty's coach services depart from Sydney daily and travel to Murrurundi, with stops at Singleton, Muswellbrook, Aberdeen and Scone.
Air: The closest airport to Upper Hunter Country is Newcastle Airport located in Williamtown, approximately 45 minutes drive from Singleton.
