From Sydney drive approximately 90 minutes on the F3 freeway (take the Swansea/Charlestown exit) to Lake Macquarie and the waterfront areas of Catherine Hill Bay, Cams Wharf, Swansea and Belmont.

 

Continue on to Newcastle and explore this city by the sea. Travel via Hexham to Maitland & Morpeth and discover Hunter River Country. Take time to explore the Victorian architecture before following the signs to Kurri Kurri and Cessnock.

 

After arriving in Hunter Valley Wine Country follow the signs to the vineyards. Travel to Wollombi and return to Sydney via the scenic Great North Road.
